Clinical Services
Our clinical services provide comprehensive primary healthcare for students, faculty, and staff. Our licensed healthcare providers offer routine check-ups, acute care for illness and injury, preventive health screenings, immunizations, and management of chronic conditions.
We maintain partnerships with local hospitals and specialists to ensure seamless referral and continuity of care. All clinical services are provided in a confidential, non-judgmental environment that respects individual privacy and cultural values.
PRIMARY CARE
The infirmary located within the institution is an actively utilized unit with a high circulation of students and staff, based on conducted observations. It has been observed that the infirmary receives a significant number of daily applications and regularly provides services to students and employees presenting with various health complaints. This indicates that the infirmary functions effectively as an accessible and operational healthcare point within the institution.
The infirmary area is arranged to accommodate patient admission and observation, allowing for short-term monitoring and medical interventions. There are two (2) examination beds available, enabling the simultaneous assessment and observation of more than one individual. The sufficient number of beds supports the uninterrupted delivery of services, particularly during peak periods.
All medical devices available in the infirmary are suitable for the provision of basic primary healthcare services. Equipment used for measurement, evaluation, and observation purposes is fully operational and regularly utilized. These devices allow for the rapid and effective assessment of the health status of individuals seeking care.
PHARMACY
Medication administration is actively carried out in the infirmary, and medications are stored under appropriate conditions and prepared and administered by healthcare personnel when necessary. The medications available in the infirmary are sufficiently varied and accessible to address commonly encountered conditions within the scope of primary healthcare services.
During medication administration, the principles of the right medication, right dose, right route, and right time are strictly followed. Prior to administration, the individual’s identity information and allergy status are verified, and after administration, the individual is monitored for potential side effects.
All processes related to medication administration are documented to ensure traceability of the procedures performed. In this respect, the infirmary provides not only medication services but also comprehensive medication safety and patient follow-up care.
SEXUAL & REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH
For young adults:
• Hygiene guidance
• Body awareness counseling
• Healthy lifestyle habits
These services are delivered in accordance with privacy and confidentiality principles; in cases requiring clinical treatment, appropriate referral to professional healthcare services is provided.
Reproductive Health Services, Intervention, and Referral
Within the scope of infirmary services, applications related to reproductive health are actively evaluated. Necessary assessments are conducted for common concerns such as menstrual pain, menstrual irregularities, and other reproductive health complaints, and appropriate medication administration and counseling are provided.
While delivering these services, the infirmary pays utmost attention to confidentiality and privacy principles. In cases requiring short-term observation, individuals are monitored on examination beds, and once their condition is stabilized, necessary guidance and referrals are made.
In situations requiring further examination or specialist evaluation, individuals are referred to appropriate healthcare institutions to ensure continuity of care.
Counseling Services
Our counseling services provide professional mental health support to help students navigate personal, academic, and emotional challenges. Our team of licensed counselors offers individual counseling, group therapy, crisis intervention, and workshops on various mental health topics.
We understand that seeking help can be difficult, and we are committed to creating a welcoming, confidential, and supportive environment. Counseling services are available to all enrolled students at no additional cost, and we respect diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
