Our central campus features a comprehensive sports complex designed to meet students’ performance, health, and recreational needs. The facilities include:
Basketball and volleyball court
Fully equipped 300 m² fitness center
Dance studio
Pilates studio
Free training studio
These areas are actively used for both school team training sessions and individual workouts.
Dormitory Campus Sports Facilities
Within the dormitory complex, there is a specially designed sports area that allows individual athletes to carry out their training programs.
Training is conducted in the following disciplines:
Wrestling
Boxing
Kickboxing
Muay Thai
Taekwondo
Jiu Jitsu
Archery
CrossFit
Table Tennis
This facility is used intensively, particularly during the preparation periods of university sports teams.
Student and Athlete Support System
Biruni University operates a comprehensive support system to foster the development of student-athletes:
Students who wish to advance in their chosen sports receive trainer and facility support.
Non-athlete students are encouraged and guided toward suitable sports branches.
Guidance and information are provided on healthy living, conditioning, and exercise programs.
The organization and management of facilities, sports activities, and training programs are carried out by the Sports Coordination Unit.

Biruni University conducts academic studies in which sports are approached as a science-based discipline.
In this study, the following were examined:

Its effects on performance outcomes and muscle functions in football players.
This project is a significant interdisciplinary study that strengthens the university’s research capacity in sports sciences.
In this project, the usability of thermal imaging results in predicting injury risk will be evaluated by comparing them with:
Muscle strength,
Balance performance,
Functional test scores.
In addition, academic staff from the Department of Physiotherapy conduct various scientific studies on university sports teams.
These studies enhance the university’s scientific contribution in terms of athlete health, performance optimization, and injury risk reduction.
