Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Mehmet Ramazanoğlu is a Turkish pediatrician, neurologist, and academic clinician serving as an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Advisor to the Rector at Biruni University and a specialist physician at Biruni University Hospital’s Department of Pediatric Health and Diseases.
Education
He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1979. He completed his specialization in Pediatrics at University of Bern Faculty of Medicine in 1984 and his residency training in Neurology at University of Lausanne Faculty of Medicine in 1988, both in Switzerland.
Clinical and Academic Career
Dr. Ramazanoğlu’s early professional experience includes clinical practice and training positions at the faculties of medicine in Bern and Lausanne, Switzerland, between 1980 and 1988. He later returned to Turkey and held academic and clinical roles, including at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Medicine between 2016 and 2019. Currently, he is an integral part of the pediatric neurology and child health programs at Biruni University Hospital, where he focuses on comprehensive child health, growth and development monitoring, neurological assessment and treatment, and complex pediatric clinical conditions.
