Prof. Dr. Adnan Ömerustaoğlu is a distinguished Turkish philosopher, educator, and academic leader serving as Professor of Philosophy and Dean of the Faculty of Education at Biruni University, where he also leads research and academic development initiatives in the social sciences.

Education and Early Career
He graduated from the Department of Philosophy at Atatürk University Faculty of Arts and Sciences in 1985. He completed his Master’s degree in 1995 with a thesis on “Logic-Mathematics Relation in Salih Zeki” and earned his PhD in 1999 with a dissertation on “Thomas Kuhn’s Philosophy of Science.”

Prof. Dr. Ömerustaoğlu began his academic career as a lecturer at Atatürk University in 1994, where he advanced through academic ranks. He later served as faculty member at Sakarya University and became a professor in 2010.
